IC OBSERVATIONS AND PERCEPTIONS 

Matt has super heightened senses of smell, touch and hearing.  Canonly his hearing can detect heartbeats and sounds as soft as bone fractures depending on focus. His nose can pick up smells unique to different people and can tell what they've eaten or where they have been. If you have any particular observations you would like him make about your character please put them here!

In canon, Rose has a slower heartbeat than humans (don't ask me why) so he'll be able to pick up on that easily. In game, she drinks from blood bags so he could definitely smell blood from her after she's eaten.

Ari is from a planet very different to Earth. Underneath the scent of the fine tobacco cigarillos she smokes and the black coffee she drinks, he'll be able to smell rust and sand and something like the sea. The Sea of Dust has a vast and varied ecosystem, including life on the scale of diatoms and krill. It would be in the material of her long coat and her boots, which are leather, but not any leather Matt's ever smelled. She's probably bled on that coat, though not any time in recent months. She doesn't wear perfumes or lotions, and she uses an unscented shampoo. (Also, someone gave her fresh flowers recently: lilacs, carnations, calla lily.) And if Matt's especially keen, he'll discover she's not wearing any metal. At all.

Other than that, she's baseline human. She grew up in a hard world, so she has several healed breaks in her hands and ribs. She's strong, flexible, like a gymnast, but a little wild, unrefined in her martial arts. More of a brawler than anything, but with training, she could be good.

Her accent is posh English, but it's not her first language. She grew up speaking an admixture of modern Arabic and ancient Greek, filtered through a couple hundred years of colonization separate from Earth. Let Matt make of that what he will.
