Truth only drives people apart if there's been lies. Truth from the start brings people together, and that's what they've had. Mostly. Enough to make the parts that weren't statistically insignificant. It gives them both a safe space in which to express themselves to each other, to reveal the things they keep so hidden.

She knows that Foggy would never hurt her and that Matt wouldn't leave her side if he thought she were in the slightest danger, and now she's feeling self-conscious. She'd been trying so hard to pretend she's normal, so Matt's friends wouldn't think badly of her, and boy did that not last long.
