[Nothing beats the smell of a coffee shop. He follows her lead and takes a seat. The light gives off heat and a good position to read expressions if one where able to do that. Well played.]

I figure at least some of the city's incentives have to be related to legal stuff, right? I can't go to their world and argue their case for them, but maybe I can at least give them a place to start when they go home.

[Matt's hands fold together over the surface of the table.]

We negotiate the terms of their return you mean?

No. Well ... maybe, if they need it? But I was thinking more the actual cases. Like if they're in jail back home and they feel like they got railroaded, maybe I could have a look at it.

[He idly licks his lips and there's no way of hiding the smile that comes up on his face.]

Nearly proactive, cross reality legal advice. I like it.

I'd hoped you'd say that.

[She grins a bit.]

I think it uses my skill set a little bit better than real estate law.

With as many people as we have and the vast number of needs...

[Now his mind is going. Zero to very, very busy.]

I think it sure would. Do you have any clients lined up? What brought this to your attention?

[She shakes her head.]

No clients, as of yet. Just more ... trying to get the wheels turning and seeing what would be interesting to do here, and productive at the same time. In a lot of ways, it's getting back to my legal aid roots, which would be nice.

I'll say. And it's a necessary service. We can help send people off as well equipt as possible.

[And the more it rolls in his brain, the more he likes it. Most people here in Eudio are deserving of help. They're already putting their lives on hold to save this world.]

[She nods in agreement.]

I figured we could make an announcement on the network, so they know where to find us?

And we don't have to run anything by the powers that be because we're fully operating in Eudio...

[Don't mind him. Just going through logistics in his brain. His smile still stays bright.]

[And there's no small amount of pride welling in him that someone of her caliber would consider him to be ready for the job.]

Excellent. Maybe to start off we can offer free consultations. Something to get a rapport with anyone who isn't entirely sure or just... hit the ground running.

[He rubs his hands together before tapping them flat to the table.]

That sounds perfect! Hopefully there'll be a good amount of people who will bite.

If anything we can draw attention to the fact that our services are not limited to trans-world legal advice.

[His sheepish grin means it's a joke. Kind of.]

Boring isn't property management mediation. I'll take it and I'll remember where I came from enough to not find it self injury inflicting.

[Her smile and just as good-natured response makes him feel even more at ease. They're going to make a great team.]
